I recently upgraded my Z580 to Windows 8.1 x64 from Windows 8x64
Some Windows 8.1 drivers work, for some things I had to use Windows 8 drivers
But the touchpad isn't registering a two finger click as a right click on either of the drivers
It used to work fine on Windows 8 but I have to use the button to right click which is uncomfortable
Two finger scrolling works fine, pinch zoom gesture works fine, even Windows 8 screen edge gestures work perfectly
Anyone else with the same issues or any know-how on how to solve this problem ???

Clean installation WIN 8.1 PRO 64bit
I installed all drivers.
Synaptics Touchpad Driver Not working properly - Z58o ,win 8.1 64bit
1-Poor sensitivity on Touchpad.
2-You can scroll with two fingers only. Before it could even with one finger (win 8 64bit).
3-Right-click with two fingers does not work (context menu, special drag)
I tried to re-set all settings ,Stayed the same problem.
Synaptics Touchpad Driver Version was better at win 8. The version at 8.1 looks more old.
Please fix it ...

Welcome to Lenovo forums
did you totally remove the old OS and did a new installation or you only updated the OS?

The driver stopped working in the last 10 days (which has happened in the past) so I uninstalled the driver and tried to reinstall. I've tried downloading the new Synaptics driver multiple times but every time it fails every time I try to install It says to either try again (which I've done) but nothing works or installs. Is anyone else having this problem? Perhaps a recent Windows 8 update caused problems?
