Hello, my Lenovo IdeaPad Z580 runs on a Windows 7. Often times, I have to use the F5 button in the work that I do, and I notice when I hit that button repeatedly, my touchpad freezes. The mouse stays where it's at, and I have to restart my computer to get it to work again. I looked online, and see people saying to look for the mouse icon on either F7 or F9, but I don't see that on my keyboard. I also have seen people talking about hitting a button to disable it on accident, but there is no such button by or near my touchpad. It's extremely frusterating. Can you help me? Thanks.

Hello, thanks for responding The keyboard works perfectly fine when this happens. I don't have an external mouse because I'm always just using the pad attached to my laptop. I could purchase one, but I'd really just like to figure out why the mouse on the laptop keeps freezing up and if there's any way to fix it. Can you think of anything I could try?
