Z580 Windows 7 enterprise problems

2012-11-18, 14:04 PM

I clean installed Windows 7 enterprise to make my 12gb ram supported by OS.

But instead the Laptop faces many problems :-

1. Boots horribly slow (2 mins +) (even resume from hibernation takes long)

2. Full CPU usage after booting up

3. Frequent lag during usage

I guess the problem somewhat relates to GPT formatting of the HDD - Windows didnt allow MBR on EFI disks

P.S. No bios update is available, i 've tried all hotfixes, no luck....

Please help... !!!!

PC specs :-

core i5 3210M - 2.5 ghz

12 gb ddr3

500gb / 5400rpm hdd

1gb nvidia 630m

intel hd 4000 graphics

Try reducing the ram to 8 gb. I don't think z580 supports more than 8 gb ram.

Maximum ram is according to the motherboard and not any os.
