I've had my z580 for less than a year.
The problems started when it would utterly freeze and make a continuous beep tone noise. I rang lenovo and they told me to do recovery and reinstall windows etc.
I did this with no problems but the problem still continues.
Shutting the lid to try and get the laptop to sleep does absolutely nothing, I can only sort it by forcing shut down.
Frankly I'm very disappointed that such a new laptop has such a problem.
My Z580 has i7, 8GBRAM, 3.6ghz and 750 gb hard drive.

I’m sorry to hear that the freezing issue persists even after performing OSRI (Operating System Re-Install), the only available option is to get the computer to nearest Authorized Service center to get the issue resolved.
