Z580 pixelised videos Windows 8

2012-11-27, 18:00 PM

Hi, i bought ideapad Z580 with Windows 8 64-bit and when I play on any video image is poor (pixelised).

When I play that videos on my old computer image is fine, so it is not problem in video quality. I also tried to instal video codecs for windows 8 but it didn´t work.

If anyone has any idea I would be grateful....

Yes one is from PC one from Z580.

Its 1336 x 768 resolution.So you have to play HD videos 720dp or 1080dp.Below that resolution you will get videos like that.

No its not problem in resolution of videos,  its the same problem with HD videos.

Look at screenshot of HD video.

Hi ivn,

in image C1 'sharpen'  function is advanced too much in your media player, better disable,

no need to additionally sharpen a HD video,

image C2 looks a bit soft but OK to me.

ivn...

glad you found out whats wrong,

may have a look at WMP Help, how to adjust video effects,

I myself use VLC all time, it's an excellent media player.
