Z585 High CPU Temp

2013-08-08, 14:26 PM

Hi I hope somebody can help me with the high temps i'm getting on my CPU. When I turn the machine on I get temps of around 97oC on idle which seems massively high seeing as the max is 100oC. I've tried quite a few monitoring applications and they all come up with the same temps, is this a known issue?

Have you tried Core Temp. HWMonitor and HWinfo have bugs with the AMD APU processors. It should report somewhere around 40 - 50 degrees Celsius. Another program that I know that reports accurate temperatures for APUs is speedfan.
