My friend VirgoSun my wifi card is the same like your laptop Yoga 500, this is QCNFA34AC or Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac+ BT 4.1 M.2 Type Card, here complete specs https://fccid.io/PPD-QCNFA34AC, but i don't know why is important to disable restrictions in my BIOS. You said about RAID too, i didn't know that in wifi was possible to make a RAID array or why is the reason that you mention it?
By the way I can desinstall the wifi card because in Mac it doesn't works, I got a USB wifi card with realtek chip inside and it works in El Capitan and Sierra perfectly.
To finish this is my complete laptop specs
Intel processor Corei7-5500U
16GB RAM DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 5500
Nvidia GeForce 840M (2GB)
SanDisk SSD 240 GB (I changed for this because is more fast)
Qualcom Atheros QCA61x4 (QCNFA34AC ) Wireless Network
Qualcom Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooh 4.1
Realtek PCIe GBE LAN Network
Conexant SmartAudio HD
Give me new news if is possible, I can pay for your work. Please. Can You comunicate for mail? here is email@example.com (To avoid You know what)

Following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDLTEZrRqsg
I tried modify my BIOS and I couldn't get. I got a write restriction to modify or replacing files like show in screenshots
and in this web the steps are similar https://patrikesn.wordpress.com/2015/01/11/guide-unlocking-the-hidden-bios-pages-on-lenovo-miix-2-11...
using ubuntu linux i got the same restrictions. I can think that my BIOS is completly locked or maybe someone knows modify the original bios file *.fd to flashing it after.
Please if someone can help me I'll be so much gratefull and I can pay for it.

This is the original lenovo download file https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/abcn96ww.exe
Here BIOS extracted https://www.sendspace.com/file/m6bz6f
Here FD file https://www.sendspace.com/file/qi7bap
My process was :
1. Double clic to file downloaded and continue the process.
2. Right clic to ABCN96WW.exe file to unzip.
3. Right clic to compress the files extracted to Rar file extension and after that rename it to BIOS extrated.rar
4. Right clic to compress ABCN96WW.fd file to Rar file extension and after that rename it to FD File.rar
On the other hand, if you ask me for my process to edit my BIOS with linux that's the next:
1. Booted with Linux Mint 18.1 or Linux Ubuntu 16.04.1 and I connected to internet by network lan and before of this I
retired my wifi physical card and I disabled it in BIOS. (Inside both linux I was like root user).
2. After I installed ghex software to follow the guide on net for both cases of linux and open the file with the name
Setup-a04a27f4-df00-4d42-b552-39511302113d and modify it the line 00000210 to 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 00 00 00 and continue to save it.
3. In that moment was when I had the message of restriction to save.
Well. That's all.
I'll wait your next message.

The guide on the net is for Acer?
Also you should backup your bios and make and test a bios recovery Usb in case something wrong
Not all guide are applicable.
I have just bricked my Asus X451CA minutes ago and it cost me 10$ to recover
Look at this many laptop brick, me not exception

Hi my friend. I was making consults in others forums and in forums.mydigitallife.info told me that my BIOS has write restrictions and the only way to unlock or show hidden options is desolder and reprogram it with a SPI programmer, and now I made a order to china and I going to wait 1 month approximately to its arrive here.
I'll give you news soon at least that you have another trick.
