Z710 Touchpad peeling

2014-11-30, 10:57 AM

I have an Ideapad Z710 and the coating on the touchpad is chipping off. I first thought it was just a scuff but as i scratched the area i noticed more and more of the coating on the touchpad was chipping off. Is this covered by the warranty? Is there a way to replace the coating or fix the problem through some other method?

Hi Lenovo_canadian,

Welcome to Lenovo forums.

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with touchpad peeled in your Lenovo Z710 laptop.

Please confirm if that the touchpad sticker as you are referring that it has been peeled, this issue is covered under the normal warranty as this is a wear n tear issue.

As you have mentioned to replace the sticker, to replace please contact the Lenovo contact centre for further details or please contact the nearest service centre for further details.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.

Hope this helps. Do post back if issue persists!

Best regards,
