ask about partitioning

Can someone help me
I have a lenovo y450 with 500GB hard drive, partition on the driver c: \ is 420GB, I wanted to share it again in a few more partitions, how do I do that without destroying the system recovery?

You will not destroy it as itself but your restore to original factory settings will not work.

To overcome this oyu either need to replace original backup by your own (which is a techy but not easy way) or just create your own user backup held on disk D that you can use in future instead of factory settings.

in case if you want to restore factory settings you should simply again make C drive of original size or over that.

 

To change partitions sizes I'd recommend EASEUS partition master free.

thx, but, how to install vista home premium again after formating the hardisk and make a new partition? where is the VHP installation located?

Why would you do that?

You jsut need to change sizes of partitions - use EASEUS partition master.
