Good morning everybody.
Here is my problem with my 3 years old Y50. I have just removed and replaced the battery of my laptop. It is a Y50-70 Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80EJ, as the online scan says.
The problem is that on my first attempt to de-charge it, my pc only stayed on for a couple of minutes, then it shut down. When I plugged the AC charger, it went ok but the real problem started: it only charges 68 - 74%. Then, when I unplugged the charger, my new battery only lasted 20 30 minutes. It is a compatible battery model, following the lenovo online tool suggestions, of course!
What can I do? I have already tried to remove and reinstall the new battery and this time the "complete" charge was around 85%. And it still doesn't last that longer.
Thanks in advance for your help

Many "compatible" (non-Lenovo branded) batteries are junk. You may have one. What online tool?

The one that scans your system here on lenovo official site. My battery was affordable, the seller is a well-known Lenovo compatible producer, and it had 99% positive reviews on Amazon. I still can send the product back. What do you suggest?

Iff it doesn't work for you, return it. Was the battery you bought a Lenovo branded battery or a compatible (non-OEM) battery?

I know about parts in U.S. but I'm not sure about Europe. Maybe here:
