changing my y50-70 hard drive

so now my hard drive is failing i need to change it so i was wondering if Seagate 2TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD woould work.

yes.  It comes in 2.5" and 3.5" form factors.  Obviously, you need 2.5"

I've never tried it, but the specs make it look like it will work.  Any time you use any non-Lenovo parts, you should confirm a seller's return policy.
