Re: idepad Y500 GT750M sli

hi Petri,

Regarding your questions:

1. Like what GrossmeisterB have suggested, there are some limitations found when upgrading the Y500 to Windows 8.1 (SLI) and a Video BIOS was released to correct it. Check the article below on how to enable SLI in Windows 8.1

 - Y500: SLI is not working after Windows 8.1 upgrade

2. As per page 27 of the hardware maintenance manual, the Lenovo Y500 has an hdmi 1.4b port that supports up to 3D 1080p video at 120 Hz.

Regards

Re: idepad Y500 GT750M sli

hi Petri,

The Y500 uses an HDMI 1.4b port that supports up to 3D 1080p video at 120 Hz. If you'll not be using the 3D feature and just wanna watch HD content, any HDMI 1.4 cable should do.

Check this HDMI 1.4 FAQ for more info.

Regards
