Hi Barmod ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
As you have tried doing power drain , it would be best to proceed with the recommended power check out as described from the hardware manual (page21) :
To verify a symptom, follow the steps below:
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack.
3. Connect the AC adapter.
4. Make sure that power is supplied when you turn on the computer.
5. Turn off the computer.
6. Disconnect the AC adapter and install the charged battery pack.
7. Make sure that the battery pack supplies power when you turn on the computer. If you suspect a power problem, see the appropriate one of the following power supply checkouts: • “Checking the AC adapter” on page 21 • “Checking operational charging” on page 22 • “Checking the battery pack” on page 22
Isolating from the ac adapter with another known good charger can help determine other probable cause like dc in port issue ( specially if the cable get easily loose) , power button and board (test if Novo button can turn on the system) or the actual systemboard itself (where battery indicator light should be able to show up led for charging).
Update us how things go.

Hi Barmod ,
Review power check from the hardware manual (page21) to proceed with the next step.
Checking on the ac adapter using a voltmeter to see if the adapter itself is working and if you also have a spare adapter with similar specification.
If the ac adapter is ok then most likely either the dc in port / power board / cable or even the systemboard may be the issue as it it is best to have a service center check further specially if you don't have the tools to test it with.

Hi Barmod ,
Try to power drain again by removing the ac adapter and battery then press and hold down the power button for 12 seconds.
Connect just the ac adapter and turn on. Connect an external monitor on the VGA port and maybe restart it again see if the display would dhow on either of the screens.
