It's lenovo y50-70 59-443090. In the same room where router is localized the download speed reaches even 50mbs. But in any other room(about 5 meters) the download downgrades to 10 mbs. My broadcom driver is 22.214.171.124.

Ok now I get about 17 mbs of download, but its not a big difference comparing to my asus with atheros card. I guess broadcom has a terrible weak antenna. Anyway thanks. If you know anything about broadcom's advanced settings in device manager and how to adjust them properly, let me now please.

I have the same problem: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows-7-Discussion/Lenovo-Y50-70-Broadcom-802-11ac-issue/td-p/2152738
I cannot even connect to 5GHz (80Hz) ac wifi, only 2.4 GHz 20/40. Fortunatelly my router is dual band so other devices still use 5GHz and only Lenovo y50-70 cannot see 5GHz WiFi and has to use 2.4GHz.
When I use "netsh wlan show drivers" it does not show "ac": Radio supported types: 802.11n 802.11a 802.11n 802.11g 802.11b.
In advanced options of wifi adapter "ac" also is not mentioned, only a/b/g and 20/40 MHz.
The same issue is under Windows 7 x64 and Windows 10 x64.
Lenovo support replied to me that it is not their concern because my y50-70 didn't come with pre installed Windows and drivers from Lenovo website are not compatible with Windows installed by the user... what a b******.

I got exactly the same problem in my Broadcom 802.11ac BCM4352 Wireless Network Adapter. Near the router I dont have any problem, the wifi speed is high; but when I get away the performance of the adapter goes down extremely quickly.
