lenovo y5070 keyboard backlight doesn't turn off?

hello

last week I bought a lenovo y5070-2015-A but I cant turn off its keyboard backlight.

my OS is windows 8.1 and I installed all of drivers.

I installed power management and hotkey driver but the hotkey fn+space doesn't work. all the other hotkeys include fn+ fx ( F1, F2 , ...) works properly. as well as fn+ arrow keys.

I searched many sites and noticed it's not a common problem.

does any one has any Idea???

is it a hardware problem or software problem?

Hi Hadi_Y5070,

Welcome to the Forums

As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with keyboard in your Y50-70 laptop.

Try to uninstall the keyboard adapter from the device manager, go to device manager select keyboard, select the drop down list and right click on the keyboard adapter and select uninstall and restart the system and check for the issue.

Let us know the result.
