many unknown devices in device manager and windows asking for restart

after starting windows there pops up some windows asking me to restart
and it seems it sometimes installs some software and many times fails to install some drivers
because there is a list in the device manager of unklnown devices, which gets longer and longer every time this happens

I have an ideapad y560 and windows home premium 64

Re: many unknown devices in device manager and windows asking for restart

Hi Mu5ch1n4t0r,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

I’m sorry to hear that there are many “Unknown Devices” and even after automatically installing the drivers the issue persists, please let me know the exact OS (Operating System) installed in the computer. Below are links with steps to update the required drivers manually using “Device Manager”:

Do post us back if the issue still persists.

Best Regards

Shiva Kumar

Win7 HP 64bit
The device manager does not find any drivers, it tries to install some drivers at each Windopws start but fails

Re: many unknown devices in device manager and windows asking for restart

Hi Mu5ch1n4t0r,

I’m sorry to hear that the issue persists even after performing the above troubleshooting steps; I suggest you to download the drivers from our support website and while installing the driver right click on the downloaded file and select “Run as administrator” option to get it installed without any error. Below is the link to download the exact drivers for the computer:
