Hi hi all.
I'M new here.
I'M Alex from the Netherlands.
I have a problem.
Recently i bought a new laptop a Lenovo IdeaPad Z710. For this notebook I purchased a Crucial MX100 256GB SSD.
For this computer i have installed the latest Windows 8.1 updates and have installed the last drivers.
Monday we have cloned the original hard disk to the SSD and it works fine.
The problem is only the slowly speed of 160/170 MBs see the images.
Today i have installed 16 GB memory instead of 4GB. This was also not the solution. How can i fix this problem.
Thank you in advance.
Alex from the Netherlands.

The big question, What is the cause, the SSD or the computer settings "instalation"
I have no idea why it works so slow this website is my last hope.I have 5 days to return the SSD to the store, if the SSD is the problem then he goes back.Lex
As I have stated earlier you do need to do some tweaking to make the ssd fast in your system. Read the link.

Hi Sorry for my late reaction. I have reinstalled my notebook and forgot to copy my bookmarks.
Also of this website.
I have contact Intel about this problem I'm waiting on answer. On a desktop pc works the SSD properly that's not the problem.
The problem must are the Intel(R) 8 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller in this computer.
I Hope within a few days, a solution

The problem is solved i have installed my computer on new, i think that the the driver was corrupt.
The SSD speed up to almost 500 mbs that is a normal speed for this Brand and model SSD.
Thank you all for your suggestions and tips.
