wireless connections not showing up at all for 510z

its not picking up any wifi signils on my z510 i just bought it . i get like 10 wifi signials with my 4 year old laptop but not even 1 is picked up and im right next to my router

Can you check the following:

1. Check if Airplane Mode is ON (press the Airplane Mode key to turn it off/on) Airplane Mode Key.jpg

2. Refresh the Wi-Fi adapter:

 -press the Windows key‌ Windows logo key+R, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

- on the Device Manger, navigate to Network Adapters. If you see an Intel Centrino 7260, Atheros, Or Broadcom Wireless Adapter, uninstall it (right click > uninstall). When done, right click on Network Adapters and choose "Scan for hardware changes" - this should refresh the Wi-Fi driver into the adapter.
