In May 2011 I bought Ideapad Y460P laptop, it was working just fine for 4 month, no problems, no overheating or anything like that. I did not upgrade my BIOS (factory version). Energy management is installed and set to maximum battery life (does not charge higher than 80%, I know that)
Yesterday it stopped charging. I unplugged/plugged charger while system is ON or OFF - no effect. Charger itself works fine, the LED is ON and it can charge other laptops. I unplugged/plugged the battery - no effect. I did everything several times - nothing helps.
The power indicating LED, indicating orange or green is not lit when charger is plugged. The charger or the slot on laptop has absolutely no damage, laptop was on my desk and I naver carried it outside.
I did not install any energy management programms other than lenovo's
Right now the battery has no charge. I have no way to charge the battery.
Looks like a hardware problem...
Thank you for any effert to help!
Win 7, i7 2630QM etc.
