I think they make them for different countries but with the same parts.

 

In any case, as soon as they release a BIOS update, I'm going to look into getting it unlocked.  We have to wait until then, though.  So I'm gonna hang onto my 6300 until that day.

Has anyone found a solution? 

 

I'm wondering if anyone found a third-party BIOS or a way to change the PCI-ID easily for these superior wifi cards?

it's not easy to modify the bios and/or it will void your warranty.
