y500 keyboard and touchpad not responding

Sometimes when I turn on my laptop I find that the keyboard and touchpad not responding so I must restart the laptop to make them work this is really annoying 

note that when this happens the Synaptics software is not opened in the task bar

please help

I’m sorry to hear that the Keyboard and Touchpad is not working as expected in your Y500 Laptop. I suggest you to re-install the driver and let me know if the issue persists.
