I purchased a Lenovo y560p ideapad during the summer and about a month ago I noticed that "Custom Program Settings" window would pop up randomly. This also caused my laptop to start typing random letters and spaces including muting of my volume.
Now, I searched online and some say that the solution is to uninstall GID from my program files - this GID thing does not exist for me.
If you're still under warranty, please send to service centre for repair.
Otherwise, you may want to fix it by yourself. Checking this youtube clip may help.
Note: For safety reason (void warranty, etc), do not dissemble pc yourself except upgrade of RAM, HDD etc which are customer replaceable components.
