z570 system restore without OneKey

2016-11-28, 16:40 PM

I thought this would be simple, but I guess not.

All I need to do is restore my system to factory settings. I've bought a new laptop, and I want to dispose of this one safely now that everything is backed up.

Apparently, my OneKey recovery is broken (it just boots the computer normally) & hitting F11 during startup also does nothing. Is there a way to restore system settings, or an easier way to get all of my personal data off of this machine before I dispose of it?

I don't have any Windows discs, I've tried to use the command prompt, most guides online are telling  me to use the OneKey/F11 but I haven't been able to find an alternative.

If the partitions are there still. Use the NOVO button I expect all models have it.
