Can I replace the intel 2nd generation processor to 3rd generation? For example, my processor i5-2430m to another i7-3630qm. Intel hm65 chipset supports both processor. Both processor have the same socket G2.
Is flashing the BIOS is required?

This would be the processor upgrade:
Intel i7-2820QM 2,30 g 8M 4c D2 PGA 102001055
Intel i7-2720QM 2,20 g 6M 4c D2 PGA 102001071
Intel i7-2630QM 2.0G 6M 4c D2 PGA 102001070
Intel i7-2620M 2.7G 4M 2c J1 PGA 102001069
Intel i5-2540M 2,6 g 3M 2c J1 PGA 102001068
Intel i5-2520M 2,5 G 3M 2c J1 PGA 102001067
Intel i5-2410M 2.3G 3M 2c J1 PGA 102001066
Intel i3-2310M 2,1 g 3M 2c J1 PGA 102001065
The chipset would be supported, but lenovo recommends that its maximum supported for your motherboard, the TDP possible, this would sobrecaletar the motherboard and does not apply it as compliant but intel does.
