z580 no longer straight booting to Windows

2014-01-11, 8:33 AM

Hi all,

As of recent, my z580 no longer boots into the OS rather than displaying a Boot Menu from which to pick which device to use to boot from. LAN Boot is 'prioritized' in this although in BIOS my primary boot device remains the HDD.

The OS is the OEM Windows 8 it came with. I'm not aware of a BIOS upgrade for this system and the BIOS is the version it came with. All other drivers are updated.

I could not find an option to disable the boot menu. Could anyone advise me how to get rid of it until I want it?

Thanks in advance.
