DCSC Possible Issue with memory configuration SR250

2020-04-01, 4:01 AM

Hi There,

Has anyone else run into the issue where 128GB of ram can not be configured on a SR250?

Using a pre-configured SR250 model 7Y51A010AU with a Intel Xeon E-2126G, as it states in the Lenovopress for the SR250 E-2100 series.

https://lenovopress.com/lp0963-lenovo-thinksystem-sr250-server-e2100#memory

The server supports up to 128 GB of memory.
Note: 32 GB UDIMMs are supported only with the Intel Xeon E Series processors and require the UEFI version ISE114H or later; Core i3, Pentium Gold, and Celeron G Series processors do not support 32 GB UDIMMs.

However the 32GB option is greyed out??

Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Tim

Please change the mode of DCSC from "Guided Mode" to "Expert Mode".  The 32GB memory option can be selected.

Additional information can be found in the "General Overview, Features and Functions" available in the "Resources" menu of DCSC.
