Lenovo Capacity Planner (LCP) - Power Calculation

2018-08-30, 18:52 PM

Lenovo Capacity Planner helps IT administrators and other users to know the important parameters of the different type of racks, servers, JBODs and other devices. It can calculate the power consumption and current value in different deployments. It improves the efficiency way of deployment for administrators, especially deploying devices in a large scale deployment.

DCSC, Data Center Solution Configurator, will also calculate the power for the System x & ThinkSystem servers. DCSC will also provide partial data for some solutions and other products.

Here is the link to LCP, which can be run from the Browser or downloaded and run standalone: https://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/solutions-and-software/software/lenovo-capacity-planner/solutions/ht504651

Is LCP an actual tool? I`ve found an error in FlexSystem Chassis size: according to LCP it takes 8U, but in reality it takes 10U. Didn`t know, where to report, so posted here.
