Display works for 2 days whith volume buton ok but freez again .... Why Lenovo don't back to stable firmware ?

Hi@ Frustrating,

 

we understand your disappointment, I have submitted several logs to Google and we only have to wait for the software team to break the issue.

 

I kindly ask you to submit feedback directly to google, if possible. The more users (logs) will be posted, the closer we are to the solution.

Hi Zuzana

 

As I already mensioned, I don't have the entry "Build number". I tried to tap everything that is there in the "About the Device" for at least 20 times. Nothing ever happened.

 

Thank for solve this freezing-issue as soon as possible.

Hi suzana , sorry but it's no way to active developpers option with à smart display , it's not a smartphone ... The only way to send feedback is to talk to google assistant , no way to send log ...

Bump this thread because I want to see an acceptable, reasonable & responsible update from Lenovo. Why do Google & Lenovo keep ping-ponging the customers?? I turned to Google, they said this is a Lenovo product, go Lenovo. When I come here, they say we wait for Google, haha. What do they think we're, ping-pong balls??

Same problem here with my Lenovo smart display. Was about to toss it because I thought it was a hardware failure. How can a software problem go on for almost 4 months? Just revert the changes. If this is google's problem, Lenovo must have some agreement with Google to not let this happen. I hope you are screaming loudly to them because they are destroying your customer base's confidence in Lenovo.

Any update please? I am missing looking over at my ambient mode while listening to spotify or scrolling through a recipe, checking the weather or anything else that used the screen. Especially frustrated that this was working perfectly with previous software and cant go back to the old one

 

Dont make me go full Karen and ask for the manager
