i cannot believe that we have to jump through these hoops to get the December update considering 1) it exists & 2) this thread exists.  As of this morning my tablet still showing sept file as the latest update.  Pretty absurd.

How long does it supposed to take to download this file. Seems to be taking a long time. It's been like 10 minutes.

It's a large file. Like 2.7 gb. Just keep an eye on the progression bar. And follow the instructions. It'll work .. eventually. And hopefully Lenovo will correct the OTA update soon so it goes straight to the December software right out the box the first time..

at lenovo I learned not to update the software. After the upgrade there are only problems. If you want it to work, leave it in factory form or have fun in costom roms. I gave the tablet to the service 3 times for the 4th time, I found the rom on which the tablet does not turn off automatically. I will never buy crap from lenovo again.

For those of you that are still having an issue with the Amazon apps installing, I just got my hands on an M10 HD (TB-X505F) and was having the same issue.

 

I tried several of the different suggestions in this thread to no avail.

 

I eventually noticed that there was an update pending, so I decided to give it a shot.

 

After the install and reboot, I tried installing a single Amazon app (music) and it worked. 

 

The version that I now have installed is TB-X505FS001036200228_ROW.

 

I hope this information is helpful.

 My M10 tablet is 6 months old.  The Amazon apps were working fine until this week when there was an update pending which I stupidly downloaded.  Now Amazon Alexa does not work, Amazon music works for a minute then stops.  Amazon Kindle app opens and my content is up to date but I cannot download or open books which makes it pretty useless. I spent 2 hours in chat with Amazon Kindle support trying various things, none of which solved the problem.

I tried to call Lenova and they transferred my to some company that wanted to charge me money to help me.  Seriously?
