Tab M10 unable to install Amazon apps

Hello, I recently purchased a Lenovo Tab M10, and I am unable to install Amazon apps.

When I try to install Amazon Prime Video, all I get is a spinning orange circle when I try to open it.

Amazon Music just stalls at the opening page, and Amazon for Tablets just gives me a spinning white circle when I try to open it.

I have had no problems installing other apps.

I have so far done a Factory Reset, but that has not helped.

Could someone please help? Thank you.

Having the same issue with Tab M10 HD. TB-X505F Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Kindle, Google Play Books. None of these apps are working they get a spinning wheel once you to to start them. Android Version TB-X505F_S001030_190621_ROW
Reset device, cleared cache, reset permissions, none of these troubleshooting steps seemed to work.
Lenovo tech support, any other suggestions? Just purchased this device from Best Buy.

Sorry that I can't offer any help, but it's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

 

Hopefully Lenovo technical will be able to take a look at this soon.

I have the same device as unglebuck and I have the same problems, I tried to clear the cache or reinstall the apps, but nothing. Please support Lenovo help us ?

I'm having this issue too, did a factory reset on the device, uninstall and reinstall of Amazon apps, still won't work. Lenovo support, please help. It has been over a month since MarkWAZ reported this, any hint as to a solution?

It has something to do with chrome browser. If you force stop and disable your chrome browser.nthis will allow your Amazon apps to all work properly. The factory installed chrome browser has no issues but once it updates it prevents apps from opening . I just installed another browser and issue is resolved.  Or maybe you can enable you chrome aftermand prevent updates to it .

Okay, here's what I did:

 

Installed Amazon for Tablets. This failed to open as before.

 

Disabled / uninstalled Chrome. Now Amazon for Tablets worked!

 

Next I installed Amazon Music and Prime Video. Both of those now seemed to work!

 

Enabled / reinstalled Chrome. Amazon for Tablets broke again, however, Amazon Music and Prime Video now seemed to be working.

 

So 2 out of 3 is better than nothing I guess.

 

If future updates to Chrome continue to cause breakage, then I'll switch to another browser.

 

Jellydoughnut, do you mind sharing which browser you selected?

This worked for me:

Disabled chrome.

installed Amazon app, video, etc. Was able to sign in and they worked. Installed Firefox browser to use instead of chrome. Will use that for now.

I have a Samsung phone. I like their native browser. So that's the one I use on the m10 now. It's very similar to chrome.
