Identical situation to many here. Bought this thing new from Best Buy, specifically because it was Android 9 and my old Galaxy tablet is 7. Most of my streaming is Netflix and Amazon Prime on a tablet. I've followed this thread for several weeks, and am also quite anxious to see a 'real' fix. Frustrating.

The new X505F software version was released yeaterday night at Chinese time, everyone can search and update it. And other model version will be released continue.
If there is any other question, please let me know.

Success! The latest system upgrade fixed the Amazon app problem on my M10.
Big thanks to LemonSong and Miguel for their help in this thread, and all other Lenovo people for the fix!
