Re: Warranty API

Hi there,

I'm looking for Warranty API for Lenovo, will be great if we can have someone we can email or contact.

Appreciate if anyone can also tell me how can we have access to the API.

Thanks Guys!

Re: Warranty API

Another example of why folks are moving to Dell....  I have dug on this for several hours on a few occasions. They changed it sometime in 2011 and the solution after that appears to be non-existent.  We have switched from Lenovo to Dell because you can actually get support.

Re: Warranty API

I too have tried to find a workable solution for hours. The POST form method sucks because the lookup page keeps changing and it breaks. Lenovo needs a REST API for these functions that their customers can use. Not like it is a revolutionary concept in this day and age. I have heard that Dell has had one for quite sometime. Reasons like this they are winning thier enterprise customers back.

Re: Warranty API

Did you see this here?

The link to the API is here:

The warranty API works for me with no special key.  The problem is I haven't found anyone responsible for this and even though it works, will it work in the future?

Re: Warranty API

Thanks for the codes.

May I ask,

1. where do I look up for the SDF codes if I use "webapi.warranty";

2. Should I refer to 'Product warranty' in over 'Warranty' section?

Best regards,
