Annoying LED's

I was wondering if anyone has an idea for dimming (or disabling) the LED-lights on the S10(e). As it is now, they light up the whole room if it's dark. Also - the light right next to the power button is annoying. One would think it was enough with ONE blue blinking light to indicate HDD-activity?

 

I'm THIS far from finding a black magic marker and just paint over the LED's.

 

Maybe it could be an option in BIOS to turn off or dim those lights?

In dark room they can be quite bright. I don't think you're going to find any dimming or disabling options.

You could open up the S10 and change the resistors to dim the LEDS, or put something infront to soften/diffuse the light. I have thought about changing the resistors myself.

Thought I must be the only person who found these LEDs annoying.

 

 

 Depending on how you use your machine, covering them with a small piece

of black electical tape could work. Otherwise, I like your magic marker idea.
