Re: Best Method for Fresh Install of Windows (S10-3t)?

Softmaker is pretty generous with its older editions, and they're often freeware.  Ashampoo is a portable offshoot of Softmaker 2008; it's free and runs on USB or any directory on the hard drive.  And I *think* SM 2008 itself is still freeware.

No *.docx stuff on the 2008 and below, however.  Even on my ancient Sony Vaio Picturebook (PCG-C1VN) with its 114mb RAM, Softmaker 2010 runs without fail, and I run it on my Linux machines too, machines of varying strength.

The 2010 version for desktop is identical for the phone, which is why I stick with an HTC Touch Pro 2, despite its age.  Using Textmaker for sixty seconds invariably makes a user wonder about the basic approaches from both QuickOffice and Docs-to-go.  And when I say basic, I mean primitive Smiley Happy

Hy rzfreefr,

Page 20 in the user manual shows the OKR button that you can push at startup. If the preload is installed, that should get you into OKR.
