Boooting S10 ideapad

2010-03-13, 9:35 AM

Hi - don't know where to start. When trying to boot (wondows XP home) the S10, the system comes up with a black screen and the message 'missing operating system'. Have managed to get around that by disconnecting the battery - but where to from here? Anyone out there that knows what the problem is, and how to sove it.  Would much appreciate your help!

your boot settings is gone, you can try to fix it if you have xp installation cd ( not recovery disk ) or by performing new clean installation.

or press f8 when you see lenovo logo, then select safe mode, restore your computer a couple of days ago.
