Can't change boot order

I accidentally deleted some partitions in my U410 and now I need to completely reinstall the windows.

However every time that I change the boot order at the BIOS, (putting USB as first and the 'windows boot manager' as last') and click on 'Exit Saving Changes' it simply do not save my changes! If I go again to the bios the windows boot manager goes back to the top and I can't boot from the USB.

Is there a simple solution for this?

Re: Can't change boot order

Hi bragalucas,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Can you try switching the BIOS to these options,

1. Boot into the BIOS and set the following settings:

Exit Tab:

OS Optimized Defaults = Win7 OS or other OS

When finished, hit Load default settings (just right above it) then set these additional settings:

Security Tab:

Secure Boot = Disabled

Boot Tab:

Boot Mode = Legacy

Boot Priority = Legacy First

2. When finished, hit Fn+F10 to save and exit.

3. Restart the computer and start tapping F12 to pull up the boot menu, There you can select the USB.

This should let you select Legacy Devices such as USB,
