It is my understanding from looking at the attached platform spec sheet, that the Intel version of the S340 has three different display options.
What I would like to know is if the Multi-Touch option is for all three, or just the IPS display?

Checking with the same product specs sheet clicking the filter icon on Multi-Touch and Display it appears that multitouch is available in all display panel. Likewise, not all IPS have that feature too.
I this effect, I believe that it is best to investigate it per variants or MTM instead.
I hope this helps answer your query.

S340 model types 81N8, 81QF are both offered with touch and most 81QF have it but not all 81N8. Checking the MTM specifically can give more details by parts lookup specially if not in psref like 81QF000HUS.
81QF000HUS does have touch with LCD PN 5D10R59145 (AU B156HAK02.0 6A FHDI AG NB(T)).

As shown in parts lookup for both MTM 81QF000GUS and 81QF000HUS, they usually share the same screen some variants may be with same features as there are also offered substitutes.

I was trying to use that webpage you linked for the S340-15IWL trying to look up another S340-15IWL to see what type of screen it has, either TN or IPS.
The model number that I have is 81QF000GUS
The UPC that I have is 193386862864
It is a laptop being sold at Rakuten here: https://www.rakuten.com/shop/lenovo/product/81QF000GUS
But it does not say if it is a TN display or an IPS.
How can I find out the exact type of display it has?
