Function Keys driver and WiFi switch on S205

I'm looking for the drivers to use the Function Keys (FN) on my S205. I had to re-install the OS on the S205, and managed to get them all accept this one. My Wifi switch also doesn't work since I re-installed the OS. It will turn of the Wifi when I switch it off, but when I go to switch it on the Wifi won't go back on, and have to restart the laptop to get it to work again.

Re: Function Keys driver and WiFi switch on S205

Hi,

you have to install  Lenovo Energymanagement   , that includes the Hotkeys (& OSD) , the Fn-F5 Menue (Softswitch) should be working.

Additional  Information about Lenovo Energymanagement . Part 1  Part2

Driver Page for Ideapad S205 Driver

Although a previous poster said you need Lenovo Enenrgy Management and in fact this is in accordance witht the Lenovo Fn button how to: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-62714

"Enable or disable the built-in wireless networking features and the Bluetooth features. If you press Fn+F5, a list of wireless features is displayed in the Wireless Radio Control window. You can quickly change the power state of each feature in the list.

Note:

If you want to use Fn+F5 to enable the feature specified in IEEE standard 802.11, the following device drivers must be installed on the computer beforehand:

  • ThinkPad Power Management driver
  • OnScreen Display Utility
  • Wireless device drivers"

In reality to turn Bluetooth on/off, you only need the "OnScreen Display Utility" from here:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014985

In fact the power management driver alone will not allow you to do that at all. (At least for me it didn't, on Win7 32 bit)
