My lenovo ideapad s110 won't turn on when i press the power button. But when I press the quickstart button it powers on. And this only happens when I do not have the battery adapter plugged on. When it is plugged the power button works. WHat could be the problem in here?

Welcome In Lenovo Forums
I would recommend if you can follow the below steps and i hope the issue will be solved
1- power off the machine and plug out the battery and connect the charger
2- hold the power button down for 15 sec
3- turn the machine on from the power button in any condition and test if it fixed or not
Please let me know if the issue still exist

Hi Alaa, thanks for the reply...sad but it didn't work. I tried but none happened.
There is an additional problem now with it, it wouldn't restart. When i try to restart, it just shuts down and never boots back up again.
I am so confused whether this is a MoBo problem or power button problem because when I use the quickstart button, the computer boots up and that is where i enter my OS so I can use my netbook. HELP!
