middleton, is it possible for you to change the "fn" and "strg" keys? That would be great...

is it possible that the fan starts at ~55°C and is off before? or reach the u350 55°C so fast that this setup is nonsense?

Hello middleton,

Thank you very much for the bios mod.

It works like a charm, whitelist disabled.

You're great value for us, thank you very much, again!!!

Everything is possible. I foresaw that every U350 owner would need his own unique algorithm of the fan work. That's why I described in details how to patch BIOS by yourself (see my previous posts) - this allows you to tune up your fan the way you want. Sorry but I can't make individual BIOS patches for every U350 owner.

Glad to see that everything works as expected.

Thanks. I have donationware projects on other websites but don't want to use this practice here.

Hi Middleton.

I have one more question - is there a way, how to make the Backlight-buttons working in Linux?

I have read many forums and they said, that IdeaPads have different table for the backlight.

They starts at 0 and Backlight+  is lowering the backlight. My Linux is showing me this too.

Could you change samething in bios?

Thanks
