I purchased my U530 Touch laptop in January of 2015, then about a year later I had the infamous "broken hinge" issue that a lot of these laptops seem to suffer from. I sent it in to Lenovo and had it fixed though, and haven't had any other issue with it until now. The problem I am now experiencing is a very noticable flickering that moves from the bottom to the top of the screen. Changing the refresh rate only seems to change the rate at which the flickering moves. I noticed that the glossy black portion of the hinge seemed to have a slighly loose feel, and saw the screen flickering issue go away when I pressed into the hinge in the right place. You can feel and hear the plastic moving when pressing into the hinge. If you fiddle with it enough you can get it to a state where the screen doesn't flicker, but it's not an ideal solution. If the laptop gets even slightly bumped or moved, the flickering will come back. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.
