I have an Ideapad U410 and it comes with this graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 610M (1GB).
I was wondering if I could upgrade it to another NVIDIA card.
I'm pretty sure it's a discrete graphics card but my friend said some discrete graphics cards are not replaceable, so I wanted to ask if anyone knew for sure.
Based on the U410's Hardware Maintenance Manual, the U410's GPU (and CPU, for that matter) are non-upgradable components of the system board. So, while the graphics subsystem is discrete, per se, it's not upgradeable since it is soldered to the planar.
