Re: Keyboard not functioning properly

Hi Ashishmishra,

Welcome to the Lenovo Community.,

As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue keyboard in your U410 laptop.

As you have mentioned the if “w” key is pressed “iwf” keys are typed, please check with onscreen keyboard also with the external keyboard.

Also try to reinstall the drivers and check for the issue.

Hope this helps! Do post us back for further queries.

Best regards,

Re: Keyboard not functioning properly

Hi Ashwin,

I tried to re-install the driver but it didnot resolve the issue. Though my onscreen keyboard is working fine.

Is there any other workaround which I can try ?

Thanks,

Ashish

Re: Keyboard not functioning properly

Hi Ashishmishra,

Thank you for replying, I apologize for the delay in reply.

As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue keyboard in your U410 laptop.

As you have mentioned that the after the drivers update the issue still persist, also you have mentioned that the onscreen keyboard works fine. Please check with external keyboard , as I suspect this could be a keypad issue which is need to replaced hence I would suggest you to visit the nearest service centre for further details.

Click here to open a link where you can select the country and get the exact contact support number. I’m sure they will be a great help.
