I bought my laptop 7 months ago and it suddenly won't charge. Even when the battery is drained. I thought it might start charging after that from reading the complaints online, and it does, but the light flashes intermittently for a minute or two before dying out. When I turn my laptop on it only has 5 minutes and every time I plug it in to charge, the light either doesn't light up or it flashes for a short while.
My mum bought it for me from Hong Kong and the original receipt is lost so I can't take it in to service in NZ even though it has warranty. I really want it fixed fast because I need it to study and exams are coming up right now.
Thank you to any help!!

I’d like to ask you to check if you have Lenovo Energy Management installed on your application list,
If you do have it please uninstall the application and restart the system and check the battery status if it will be plugged Charging or still the same.
Hope the information helps. Let us know.

I've disabled the Windows ACPI battery manager and seemed to let my laptop charge for two recharges before it relapsed into not being able to charge anymore, I'm waiting for my laptop to decided to recharge a little bit to disable the lenovo energy management to see what happens. Hopefully it'll work because I can't service it in New Zealandl.
Thank you Soha!!

My laptop hasn't decided to charge up since the last time it died. At first when I tried pressing the power button, the power light would flash three times before stopping. Now, there's no flash whe I try to power up, there's no light when I try to plug it into the AC, it doesn't charge if I leave it plugged in all day and night, I really don't know what to do, espcially since I can't take it to any lenovo specialist in my city because my model isn't sold in NZ!

I've bought Ideapad Lenovo U410 and for the first time charging, it says that plugged in, not charging.
I removed battery management but it's doesn't work.
Can you guys help me?
