Lenovo Energymanagement 3.xxx Pictures Included

Energymanagement 3.xxx
(or alias Energy Cut 3 with slightly different Icons)
a guide for lenovos energy master control program
used for all Ideapad Series  .. the settings .. way gettin in

if you start it for the first time... there are 4 profiles

Performance - Balanced - Low Power - Super Energy Saver
with each 2 seperate sections running on battery or plugged-in
...each with 3 Settings and 2 sections for system and monitor..
while Super Energy Saver has one more advanced setting tab..
so ...you see there are not few parameter that effect usage of
battery running time...

..... are my suggestions

... duration mixed usage 5:50h to 6:15h ... constant max.brightness/wlan min 4:30h

There are 6 Section to Switch on off...
Depends on usage...i leave this....
Sound Card choose On
Bluetooth (if you have one build in) choose on (can also switched off by Fn-F5 menue)
LAN card (i use wireless only so ) choose off
PCMCIA (greyed)
Wireless LAN Card choose on
Color Quality choose high (16,7 M colours) (medium is 262k colours)

keep in mind that the first 3 - 5  of battery charging / uncharging times
are important for the overall lifetime running time...
running on battery long as the machine is shutdown by itself...
and charge fully overnight while machine is off (leave it alone)
is better than charging while working with machine...

hope that my little battery life excursion... isnt boring you so much....

sincerely KalvinKlein
