Was just reading through your threads and am sorry to hear about the issues you're facing. It appears that some of you have installed the Win7 on your machines. May i know which version of the Win7 did you install, was it the 32bit or the 64bit. As i was checking further the Machine at the moninet has support for only the 32 bit version for both Win7 32bit and Xp 32bit. If you might have installed the 64bit there is a chance that some of the drivers and hardware might not be supported?
Another thing i'd like to know is when in the device manager, does the bluetooth driver and device show up? Alot of factors to be looked in.
Do let me know how it goes.

i have the same issues on windowsXP. i don't think its a hardware problem. i have multiboot, i have windows7 and windowsXP in my Ideapad S10-3. bluetooth works perfectly fine on windows7 but on windowsXP, bluetooth device is not detected.

refreshing the topic i got to say the following,
in my particular case i've pointed out that my btooth wire's broken (part no#50.4el03.014, cablebluetoothlm30, 2-1-7)
first it happened that my bluesolelei stop recognizing the chip,
i've disassembled it several times and even changed the wifi and btooth from my friends similiar seashell model, thus things even went worse coz after all that my sd-card reader, wifi stoped functioning at all
i've renewed the drivers for intel wifi link 5150,coz my card was different
with the one pin broken on btooth wire the host's not booting, but that's the only time i can see my wireless led on, without it, fn-f5 either hardware switch on the side dont lead my wifi now see any networks around but anthenas set perfectly
at last im curious once local phone repair guy's able to fix the wire and check the hardware switch as well. is there any wiring diagram or electric ought to point that out with multimeter?
recent research brought me to your community as sim card is there thus 3g modem's absent by default, when this model arrived on the market remember one of my ex having same with 4g yota onboard, so do one of thouse

accept both 3/4g networks as they grow popular worldwide?
and is it possible that absense of btooth chip makes all wireless communications hang
