Lenovo S10-3 Booting problem, long black screen time loading

2011-11-16, 5:38 AM

Hello all !!!

I purchased a Lenovo S10-3, 4 months ago... with a spec of...

2GB memory

320GB Hard disk drive

Intel Atom N455

my problem is now my netbook boots so long what happens is that When it boots it goes to loading screen of Windows 7 Ultimate after that the screen goes black for a very long time around 3mins and then it wil resume loading before it was under 2 mins... While in black screen the hard disk is reading continiously...

Steps I already have done still no fix.

Install a fresh copy of windows 7 and reinstall all drivers for Lenovo S10-3

Install a Bios for S10-3...

Tried registry fix

Thanks to all who can address this issue ^^

hey mrvoid,

welcome to the forums and that's a bit strange.

could you reinstall Win 7 once more and this time do not install any Lenovo drivers.

let Win7 install its own generic drivers and once this is done; check and see if the bootup is still slow or did it improve.

at the same time, increase your RAM memory as well.
