Lenovo U330p ideapad - bluetooth signal problems

Hi guys,

First of all I want to say hello to the forum members and admins.

I have a problem with my U330p bluetooth device. It's working, no issues with that. Just the problem is that the device signal is very very weak. I've bluetooth speaker like 2,5m away from my laptop (which btw works perfectly fine with iPhone even from the distance much bigger than those 2,5m) and I cannot really listen to spotify or other music. Sound is breaking all the time. It's having lags like hell. I was trying to update the driver but system (WIN 8.1 Pro) is showing me that I've currently the newest one.

What can I do with that? Is there any chance to fix it?

Brgds!

Re: Lenovo U330p ideapad - bluetooth signal problems

Hi there, Wzz –

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

I do agree it is a superb machine. In regards to the Bluetooth Audio, Personally I have not tested the Bluetooth or the Bluetooth Audio. I was just wondering when you mentioned the audio being really lag, do mean that the sound distorts or does the sound does not play loudly? How about when playing normally on the laptop? Do still get the same results.

Sorry for the list of question, but just wanted to be sure what exactly I'm dealing with.

Update us how it goes.

Hi,

when I said lag I meant that the sound is breaking. It's constantly loud but breaking. Like twisted. Crashing.

Re: Lenovo U330p ideapad - bluetooth signal problems

Here is the latest Bluetooth drivers for U330p. Also, you can download it from here

Also, you might want to disable power management on the bluetooth radio by opening up devmgmt.msc and selecting the properties of "Bluetooth" device and uncheck the option under Power Management to "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Re: Lenovo U330p ideapad - bluetooth signal problems

Unfortunately still the same. It happens excesively especially when I'm doing other things on my laptop like using web browser or using any other programs. It looks like signal of this bluetooth is just very very weak.
