Marcus and Agata,
This question might be outdated from the original inquiry with Windows 10 being out, but here is my question.
Per the blog, your screenshot of the advanced properties of the 7260 AC chip shows that the chip is running through the 802.11n channel, not 802.11ac. Can you confirm the steps you had to do for windows to activate wifi to the 802.11AC channel once you replaced the chip and turned your computer on?
Is there also a new chip that you recommended for Windows 10 that is compatible for the U430p?

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to confirm that I picked up a 04X6010 card and it did indeed work. I can now connect to my wireless ac 5ghz ssid with no problems. Works in windows 10 and Fedora linux just fine.

For some reason, my Lenovo U430 keep getting disconnected (no internet) after I installed the exact same model of the 802.11ac model that amouses used and I will most likely will have to use my old one.
If anyone can help, please let me know.
