I buy Lenovo Ideapad S300 and update from OS Linux to Win 10, but after i change to Windows 10, my brightness button (f11 and f12) doesn't work. I try to update my video driver but thats not affected. How i can resolve that?

Hello risnantawildans

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to see if it is set to the right settings in your BIOS: How -to

It`s for different unit`s, but the basic settings should be the same.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

In addition to Krakken,

Try Uninstalling and Reinstalling Lenovo Energy Management and Display Driver.

Reinstall Energy Management

First Open Control Panel / Uninstall a program.

Look for Lenovo Energy Management or Lenovo Energy Manager and Uninstall it.

Now Download the Energy Manager Here

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-s-series-netbooks/ideapad-s30...

Reinstall Display Driver

Now Open Device Manager and Look under Display Adapter

You should find Intel HD GRaphics, Uninstall that, Place a check on the prompt asking to Delete Driver software for this device box and continue with Uninstall.

Restart the computer and check, and Download and Reinstall the driver from here,

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-s-series-netbooks/ideapad-s30...
It should now allow adjusting the Brightness.

Update us how it goes.

Regards,
